Winter-sports holidays in Harz Hotel

Why go south when the winter sports are right outside the door?

Take advantage of the prepared cross-country ski runs in the fairy tale snow-covered Harz mountains, let yourself be pulled up the slope with your sled or let the wind blow around your ears on the descent. Winter sports in the Harz are more flexible than a Swiss army knife.

The Ski-Alpinum in Schulenberg is your winter sports area right on your doorstep. Only a few minutes' walk or by bus transfer away are perfectly groomed slopes of varying degrees of difficulty and coleur waiting for you.

And the other large ski areas in the Harz mountains such as Hahnenklee, Torfhaus, Braunlage, Sonnenberg and St. Andreasberg are also within easy reach from Schulenberg.

Those who know us know that we are happy to take care of a ski or snowboard course for you and that we can also organise the appropriate rental equipment.

For our guests we have modern sledges available free of charge. The toboggan run in Schulenberg is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel and is anything but a lame trip.

You will find a winter package specially tailored for the winter here on the site. If you have any questions, we are of course happy to help you.

PS: This year new in our program - the snowshoe hike!

Either guided or on your own, you can hike cross-country through the snow-covered Harz mountains. We can tell you: To walk without limits, where there are limits in summer, is great fun!

The snowshoes and the appropriate sticks are provided free of charge by the hotel. All you need is sturdy shoes and, ideally, snow trousers.
