By bus and road:

The nearest railway stations are in Goslar or Bad Harzburg. From there operate busses at Deutschen Bahn AG Fahrplanauskunft for information about departure and arrival times.

By car:

You reach the Okertalsperre from the north or from the south.

North arrival:

From Goslar ( B1)

Follow the street course at the end of Goslar in direction of the Oker. Follow the main street and leave the place southwards on the B498 in direction of Clausthal-Zellerfeld / Osterode. After approximate 4 km, you pass Romkerhalle with the known 60 meters high waterfall of the small Romke on the left side. Then after another 4 km you reach the main locking wall of the Okertalsperre. Follow the street course in direction of Clausthal-Zellerfeld. After a little while you find a path to Schulenberg.

South arrival:

From Osterode (B243/ 241)

Leave the place on the B 241 in direction of Clausthal/ Zellerfeld. Cross Clausthal/ Zellerfeld up to the northern east exit. Turn shortly before the local exit to the right in the direction of the Okertalsperre (B498). After approximate 6 km you reach the Okertalsperre. Shortly before you find on the left the street to Schulenberg.
